States where banks will be closed on March 15, 2025

Banks will remain closed on Saturday, March 15, 2025, on account of Holi and Yaosang 2nd Day celebrations in Tripura, Odisha, Manipur and Bihar.

Yaosang 2nd Day – Manipur’s Traditional Festival

In Manipur, Yaosang is one of the most significant and culturally rich festivals. Unlike Holi, which primarily focuses on colors and festivities, Yaosang is a five-day-long celebration that integrates Meitei cultural traditions. A highlight of the festival is Thabal Chongba, a traditional Manipuri folk dance performed under the moonlight. This dance is an integral part of Yaosang and symbolizes community bonding and joy.
