IndusInd Bank has cut the interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) for amounts less than Rs 3 crore. According to the bank’s official website, the new FD rates are effective from February 24, 2025.
The bank earlier used to offer the highest interest rate of 7.99% for general citizens and 8.49% for senior citizens. After the revision, the bank offers the highest interest rate of 7.75% for general citizens and 8.25% for senior citizens.

The bank offers fixed deposit interest rates between 3.50% and 7.75% for general citizens for FD tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. For senior citizens, the bank offers a fixed deposit interest rate between 4% and 8.25% for FD tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years.
The highest interest rate of 7.75% for general citizens and 8.25% for senior citizens is offered on tenures between 1 year 5 months and below 1 year 6 months.

Following the RBI’s repo rate cut from 6.50% to 6.25%, both Shivalik Small Finance Bank and DCB Bank have lowered their fixed deposit (FD) interest rates. DCB Bank reduced rates by up to 65 basis points (bps), while Shivalik Small Finance Bank cut rates by 25 bps, though senior citizens can still earn up to 9.05% on their deposits.
