This focused fund runs a market-cap agnostic portfolio. It currently runs a portfolio evenly balanced across largecaps and mid/small caps, with the presence in the latter comparatively higher relative to peers. The fund takes outsized positions in its highest conviction ideas, and is comfortable taking large deviations from index. It prefers businesses with high RoE and growth, low leverage and positive cash flows. This fund’s track record is patchy, exhibiting alternating bouts of sharp outperformance and underperformance. It has beaten the index sharply for last two years, yet remains a middling performer in its category. The fund needs to find a degree of consistency in its performance to warrant consideration.
