SBI Card, the second-largest credit card issuer in the country, has announced several revisions to its rewards programme for credit cards, which will take effect from April 1, 2025. The upcoming changes will impact some of its popular credit cards, such as Club Vistara SBI Credit Cards, Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Cards, SimplyCLICK SBI Card, Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card, and Air India SBI Signature Credit Card.Key modifications include the removal of complimentary flight ticket vouchers as part of renewal and milestone benefits, along with a reduction in reward points for certain spending categories. Cardholders will earn fewer points for Swiggy transactions and Air India ticket bookings on select cards.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the upcoming revisions and how they may affect cardholders:
Club Vistara SBI Credit Cards and Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Cards
Starting April 1, 2025, SBI Card will implement significant changes to the benefits associated with its Club Vistara SBI Credit Cards and Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Cards. One significant change is the removal of the economy and premium economy ticket vouchers from renewal benefits. Additionally, milestone benefits that previously offered ticket vouchers on reaching spending thresholds of Rs 1.25 lakh, Rs 2.5 lakh, and Rs 5 lakh will be discontinued. To ensure that these customers continue to derive value from their cards, the renewal fee of Rs 2,999 will be, however, waived off during card renewal.

SimplyCLICK SBI Card: Reduced Reward Points on Swiggy
Currently, these cardholders earn 10X reward points for online Swiggy transactions, which is a significant incentive. From April 1, 2025, the reward points will drop to 5X.However, the 10X reward points will still be available for online purchases made at Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Domino’s, IGP, Myntra, Netmeds, and Yatra, ensuring continued benefits for transactions on these platforms.
Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card: Reduced Reward Points on Air India Tickets
These cardholders currently earn 15 reward points for every Rs 100 spent on Air India tickets purchased through the airline’s mobile app or website. Effective March 31, 2025, the reward points will be reduced to 5 for every Rs 100 spent on Air India reservations.
Air India SBI Signature Credit Card: Reduced Reward Points on Air India Tickets
Currently, these cardholders earn 30 reward points for every Rs 100 spent on Air India ticket purchases made through the airline’s website or mobile app. Effective March 31, 2025, it will be reduced to 10 reward points per Rs 100 spent, leading to a substantial decline in reward accumulation.
