The Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited, or CIBIL, is a credit information bureau, that provides credit scores for borrowers, among other things. The credit score or CIBIL score is crucial because it enables banks to only extend credit cards and loans to borrowers with solid credit histories.
Your credit history is taken into account when you apply for loan while determining your CIBIL score. CIBIL does this computation using a proprietary method. However, the most crucial factors in this computation are your prior credit behaviours, including how you handled loans and credit card debt.
They may make sure that credit is supplied to someone who manages credit responsibly by granting credit to someone with a high credit score.
