Axis Bank offers up to 7.75% interest on senior citizen FDs; 7.1% rate to others

Axis Bank has revised its fixed deposit (FD) interest rates with effect from December 26, 2023, according to the bank’s website. The revised rates are applicable for FDs worth less than Rs 2 crore. The highest interest rate for individuals can go up to 7.10% and the highest interest rate for senior citizens can go up to 7.75% in the private sector lender.

Axis Bank FD interest rates revised (from December 26, 2023)

Axis Bank offers an interest rate of 3% for FDs maturing between 7 days and 29 days. For FDs maturing between 30 days and 45 days, the bank offers an interest rate of 3.5%. FDs maturing between 46 days and 60 days will fetch an interest rate of 4.25%.
For FD tenures maturing between 61 days and less than three months, the bank offers an interest rate of 4.5%. Axis Bank offers an interest rate of 4.75% for FDs maturing between three months and 25 days and less than six months.
Axis Bank customers will get an interest rate of 6% on FDs maturing between nine months and less than a year. FDs maturing between one year and less than 15 months, will get an interest rate of 6.70%.

For FDs maturing between six months and less than nine months, Axis Bank offers an interest rate of 6.25%. For FDs maturing between nine months and less than one year, the bank offers an interest rate of 6.5%. On FDs maturing between 12 and 15 months, the bank offers an interest rate of 7.2%. For FDs maturing between 15 months and less than five years, Axis Bank offers an interest rate of 7.6%. Axis Bank offers an interest rate of 7.75% on FDs that mature between five years and 10 years. This is the highest rate of interest that Axis Bank offers to senior citizens for an FD of an amount less than Rs 2 crore.
