Despite having advanced digital tools for instant service, C.H. Robinson faced challenges with manual data entry due to the high volume of emails—approximately 15,000 daily—containing shipping requests. The traditional process required employees to spend up to four hours in email queues and around seven minutes processing each email into an order.
To tackle these issues, C.H. Robinson developed proprietary AI technology capable of reading emails, connecting disparate pieces of information, and automatically generating orders. This innovation allows the company to automate around 5,500 orders daily, saving over 600 hours per day.

For more complex logistics scenarios, such as distinguishing between less-than-truckload and full truckload shipments, C.H. Robinson utilized LangGraph.
