June deadlines: Check which money deadlines have been extended and which will end on June 30

Punjab and Sindh Bank offers special fixed deposits for various tenures. The bank offers 7.05% on FDs maturing in 222 days, 7.10% on deposits maturing in 333 days, and 7.25% on special deposits maturing in 444 days.

The last date to invest in special FDs will be June 30, 2024.

Indian bank has special fixed deposits — Ind Supreme 300 Days and Ind Super 400 Days. For special FDs maturing in 300 days, Indian Bank offers 7.05% interest rates to the general public, 7.55% to seniors, and 7.80% to super senior citizens. For special FDs maturing in 400 days, Indian Bank offers an interest of 7.25% to the general public, 7.75% to senior citizens and 8% to super senior citizens.

The last date to invest in these FDs is June 30, 2024.

The deadline for mutual fund unitholders to opt in or opt out of nomination is June 30, 2024; otherwise, the folios would be blocked for debits. Mutual fund unit holders must submit nomination information in a prescribed manner and opt out of nomination if needed using a regulated declaration form.

Mandatory opt-in and opt-out do not apply to jointly held mutual fund accounts.

According to the bank website, “At the end of each day, the current balance/outstanding amount will be multiplied by the daily rate to arrive at the daily interest charges, which then get added to your outstanding balance. A simple formula would be as below: ((Number of days X Entire outstanding amount X (Interest rate per month x 12 months))/365 days. With effect from 23.06.2024, the interest rate on unpaid dues will be 45% per annum, or 3.75% per month, for all BOBCARD One co-branded Credit Card members on their unpaid dues.”

IDBI Bank has extended the validity date for special FD deadline to September 30 from June 30, 2024. IDBI Bank has extended the validity date for Utsav FDs for special buckets tenures of 300 Days, 375 Days, and 444 Day. The new tenure added to the list is 700 days.
