With the introduction of Universal Account Number (UAN), processes such as EPF withdrawal, adding nomination to one’s EPF, applying for a loan against PF etc., have become much easier and more accessible to EPF members. UAN is 12-digit number provided to each member of EPFO.
When a UAN is properly seeded with KYC information, the member is able to access a variety of online services without the involvement of the employer. To avail any of the services provided by the EPF, one has to login the Members sewa portal. If you have forgotten your password or want to reset, here is the process.
Note that you can reset your password, only if your UAN is activated. You can activate your UAN easily on the Members sewa portal. Click here to read on how to activate.
The password must be at least 7 characters long and no more than 20 characters long. A minimum of four alphabets, two digits, and one special character must be included in this password. At least one capital and one small letter should be used in each of the four alphabets.
