Manta Pacific has announced the launch of MultiDA, a modular architecture designed to enhance network resiliency and redundancy by leveraging data availability services from leading providers, according to Manta Network.
Multi DA for Enhanced Resilience
The MultiDA strategy integrates several data availability (DA) solutions, including EigenDA, NEAR DA, 0G, Nubit, and Dill, on the Manta Pacific testnet. This approach ensures continuous network operations by providing fallback redundancy. If one DA service becomes unavailable, the system can automatically switch to another, maintaining seamless operations and avoiding downtime.
Michael Heinrich, CEO of 0G.ai, emphasized the importance of this integration, stating, “By integrating multiple data availability solutions, Manta is setting a new standard for resilience and uptime in the blockchain space.”
Altan Tutar, CEO of NEAR’s Nuffle Labs, added, “Using multiple DA layers will boost rollup scalability and enable more powerful decentralized applications to thrive.”
Impact on User Experience
To date, Manta Pacific has saved users over $6 million in gas fees and introduced high throughput to the network. The integration of multiple DA layers further reduces transaction costs and enhances the user experience. The system automatically selects the most cost-efficient and available DA service, ensuring consistent fee structures and uninterrupted service.
Kenny Li, Co-founder of Manta Network, highlighted the benefits of MultiDA: “By prioritizing the security, resilience, and uptime of the network, we are paving the way for a more robust and reliable blockchain ecosystem.”
Why Multi DA?
Increased Uptime and Resiliency:
The use of multiple DA layers reduces the risk associated with relying on a single provider, ensuring continuous service even in the event of an outage.
Enhanced Security:
Distributing data across multiple DAs mitigates the risks of a single point of failure, enhancing network security and reliability.
Cost Efficiency:
Users benefit from lower transaction costs and increased flexibility, as the system selects the most cost-efficient DA layer.
Looking Ahead
The integration of multiple DA layers marks a significant advancement in the modular blockchain ecosystem, setting new standards for data availability and network resilience. The Manta Network team, consisting of experienced founders from prestigious institutions, continues to pioneer solutions that enhance blockchain scalability and security.
About Manta Network
Manta Network is a modular blockchain designed for zero-knowledge (ZK) applications. Manta Pacific, its modular Layer 2 ecosystem, aims to deliver the lowest cost and best user experience for EVM-native ZK applications. The network leverages Manta’s Universal Circuits for ZK-as-a-Service and Celestia’s data availability for modularity, offering an ideal environment for ZK-enabled applications.
Manta Network has received investments from top web3 investment funds, including Binance Labs and Polychain Capital, and has participated in leading web3 accelerators such as Alliance DAO and Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator.
