The Next Billion Fellowship Program is designed to spotlight compelling narratives that demonstrate Ethereum’s impact on communities worldwide. Past fellows have undertaken diverse projects, such as implementing digital badges and wallets for scouts globally, enhancing crop insurance for Kenyan farmers, and utilizing decentralized systems amid humanitarian crises in Syria.
The program spans six months and offers participants project funding, mentorship, access to Ethereum’s extensive network, and opportunities for exposure. By focusing on real-world applications, the fellowship seeks to transform Ethereum from a mere technological concept into a practical tool for societal benefit.

Interested candidates are invited to apply by January 12, 2025. Submissions received after this deadline will be considered for the subsequent cohort. The application process is designed to identify innovative projects that can harness Ethereum’s capabilities to create meaningful change.
