Axis Bank hikes FD interest rate; Earn up to 6% on this tenure

Axis Bank has increased fixed deposit (FD) interest rates for certain tenures (for amounts less than Rs 2 crore), with effect from August 11, 2022. increased its fixed deposit interest rate by 45 basis points from 5.60 percent to 6.05 percent for FD tenure of 17 months to 18 months. According to the Axis Bank website, the interest rates of other FD tenures have not been changed.

The bank will continue its 5.75 percent interest rate on deposits maturing in one year eleven days to less than one year twenty-five days. Axis bank offers 5.60 percent for term one year twenty-five days to two years except seventeen months to less than eighteen months term. Deposits maturing in two years to less than five years will continue to earn 5.70 percent. On deposits maturing between five years to ten years will attract interest rate of 5.75 percent.

Axis Bank senior citizen customers will earn the highest interest rate of 6.80 percent on seventeen months to less than eighteen months term.
